WAYYOGA CODE OF CONDUCT
Rachel (Owner) and her Team take full responsibility of maintaining updated Public Liability documentation, Disclosure and Barring Service certificates & Risk Assessments where relevant; legal documents can be produced upon request at any venue.
Please ensure that you have contacted Rachel to book you or your child into a class, and to check if space is available. You will need to fill in a registration form.
Rachel Gay (Owner/Practitioner) is the holder of certified training accredited by Yoga Alliance Professional. She holds relevant child-safeguarding & first aid training and is committed to protecting the rights and safety of any child she comes into contact with.
OUR COMMITMENT
Wayyoga will keep any personal information disclosed from parents in a safe and secure format, with security details only known to the Owner and any other team members with permission from parent/carer. Any information stored is password protected with firewall security and two-step verification known only to Owner. Any information stored on paper will be locked safely and never disclosed under any circumstances other than in the interest of public security or child protection. Wayyoga will keep this information for as long as relevant to the classes provided and for the purpose of insurance, and for a period of 2 months after a working relationship has ceased, after which details will be deleted or safely destroyed.
We will use the information you provide to keep you informed about the service, and occasionally for market research & promotional purposes. From time to time we may need to contact you with class information, updates, or if there are exceptional circumstances: bad weather, cancellation due to illness. We may also occasionally contact you to inform you of further classes, helpful guidance or follow ups to classes. If we send out emails for these purposes, they will not disclose your address, i.e. using BCC.
If you would rather not receive any emails/texts from us, please opt out when you complete the registration form.
If any medical history of the participant changes over the duration of their classes, you the parent/carer are responsible for updating us through the channels made available to you. You are also responsible for ensuring your child attends class equipped with safe & comfortable clothing in which to move.
COVID-19 Update
Wayyoga is keeping a close eye on government regulation updates applicable to businesses/individuals in controlling the spread of Coronavirus. Risk assessments have been completed at all of our venues and we are proceeding with classes with safety measures in place until further notice. Please keep yourself safe, alert and as informed as possible about personal/social risks associated with Covid-19, and ensure once booked on to a live yoga class that you read our Covid-19 Guidelines and Disclaimer for Class Participation.
